My Bio
Greetings, Earthlings! Behold my DeviantArt account, which holds many things that are old and sort of shit, and some things that are new and less shit, maybe bordering on good. Pay no attention to the praying mantis-man behind the curtain, he is a thing of the past. Chances are, it is the aliens you are here to see. They are few in number, but are growing increasingly plentiful and diverse. The dragons, too, seep in from the edges of my mind and infiltrate my art, which may or may not be a bad thing. Dinosaurs are cool too.

No really, I love dragons. They're more predictable than you humans.

Commissions are open at all times unless I say otherwise in the journal above. Check past journals for prices.

(pssst . . . my tumblr is interesting too. In a good way. I update it more often than my dA.)

Life update!

Oh man, it's been a while. I'm a whole college graduate now. Long story short, I got a new job in December 2019 which lets me draw on the clock, so I've been working on my comic full time. For various reasons (inconsistency in character designs, confusing worldbuilding, dialog hat needed streamlining, among others) I decided to start over from the beginning. It's now called Throne of the Fire King and I'm planning on getting it finished and published by the end of 2022. You can read the first 100 pages on my website. Also: I'm trans now! Huzzah! I've been on T for 18 months and I use they/them pronouns. I'm keeping my old name because I've tried to change it before and it's a huge pain in the ass, and since Lindsey is a gender-neutral name I might as well keep it. If you need proof that guys can be named Lindsey too, look no further than U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham, but keep in mind that I'm cooler and sexier than him in every way. I'm still living in Seattle with my kitty Nyla, she's

Happy birthday!
I'm not sure if I'm going to go back there :( It was fun, but looking back on it I'm not satisfied with a lot of my ideas I was working with, and, well, I feel like I've moved on to other things. I still love worldbuilding, but I'm more interested in fantasy-style headworlds now instead of aliens.

I do still have all my Unner sketches and notes lying around in a folder somewhere. I think I should post them along with an explanation of where I wanted Unner to go and how I wanted the story to end, to sort of wrap the project up. If I have a couple of days with light homework soon, I'll do it. (Benefits of art school: access to really nice scanners!)
That's natural. First projects are rarely the best ones to go forward with, but they're good learning experiences. And your art has been improving by leaps and bounds. Your next project will be fertile ground to test new techniques and skills.
